Converse says their history is a bunch of cool stories that has got the brand where it is today and is showing where it will go in the future. It started in 1908 with Marquis Mills Converse and his Massachusetts rubber shoe company. They also made tyres, but Converse got to grips with Chuck Taylor, shoes and the then young game of basketball in a bigger way. And here developed the idea of independence and being different to what everyone else did. It stayed.
Converse is the spirit of rebellion and so there’s no surprise it’s favoured by skaters and rockers. Converse is still talking.
